Web Application

                In The Name of Allah

Thank Allah, we are almost finished with  IT subject. The last topic was about Web Application

The application is a piece of software and it can run on any electronic devices. The most important thing in this chapter I learnt are the differences between the two types of web applications.

Static Web:

it is also known as web 1.0. it is considered as the 'read - only web'. It allows people to search for information and read it. But most importantly it is not interactive, there is no room for editing from external parties nor contribution whatsoever.

Dynamic Web:

It is also considered as web 2.0. Unlike web 1.0, it is quite interactive with its external parties. Examples of this web are twitter, Facebook, MySpace etc.

Including this topic we learnt many things:

First, Web applications commonly use a combination of:

1. SCRIPT.

2. CLIENT AND SERVER.

Second, we have been taught the different generations of the web :

1. 1st generation: Web 1.0.
2. 2nd generation: Web 2.0.

3. 3rd generation: Web 3.0.

Third, we learnt about online social networking which involves websites that are known as social sites

Forth,we learnt that as an example of web 2.0 online social networking, Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and so on.

Fifth, I have learnt the two types of Programming Language, low level language which is a machine-dependent language and high level language which is more user-friendly. To be honest, this topic was a very useful topic in the whole IT.

Sixth, our  lecturer taught us more about this topic in the lab class and I hope I remember everything about this topic because this week was very stressful  for me, too.

Finally, it is very hard and touchable to claim that this is the end of this semester. Even though, I cannot forget the favor which Miss NISHA has given us. In other words, I shall say it loudly and honestly that THANK YOU MISS NISHA, my Allah bless you and keep you safe, healthy and wealthy.

First, Any way, this essential
topic was about database. It was very meaningful and and important part of studying IT.  From what I have been taught, I have realized that the definition of database and some examples of it.

Second, the components of database which are:
1. data items.
2. relationships.
3. constraints
4. schema.

Third, I have realized that how database save the applications in optimal way. Moreover, our lecturer has explained for us the definition of DBMS (Database Management System), and its functions which are:
- create/organize database.
- input data.
- process data.
- maintain data and query database.

In fact, database system makes me more aware about how to maintain and record  the information.

Forth, I have realized the terms of database terminology and our lecturer explained everything about that topic clearly.

Finally, this subject (database) was very benefit for me to get more information about Information Technology section which  I hope I can learn more about.
